"Wilhelm DEPONT, born August 14, 1849 in Berlin, where he was reported to the French authorities on the basis of official inquiries into his birth... earlier reports seem to be the same up to December 3, 1867. He was registered as a resident from November 21, 1870 until August 22, 1884. Nothing detrimental has been reported since. In Berlin on October 19, 1888. - signature"-
