Gold-plated copper medal, 42 mm, dated June 28, 1889. obverse: Eiffel Tower in center on background of Partis monuments to give scale, with caption "work began on January 27, 1887 - the monument was inaugurated on May 6, 1889 - in exergue height of monuments featured on the medal: invalides, Washington obelisk, Notre Dame, Pantheon, opera house, Great Pyramid, Arc de Triomphe etc... medal stamped "usine métallurgique parisienne" - engraved by Trotin.
