19th century PREMIERE CURRENCY - "PENNY KISSY" *, iron coin from West Africa - Length 25.5 cm - Weight 9.39 grams. * These coins, also known as guinzés, were used by the Kissis until the pre-war period. The Kissis occupied the territory around the source of the Niger River, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
