Inventory of stamps issued by type, with details to distinguish genuine from forgeries, reprints and first editions. ( * ) Hamburg offices: private mail carriers from 1861 to 1863. They were very successful because of their low rates, e.g. letters costing half a schilling instead of one schilling for the state post.
