The history of the trading houses and shipowners in some fifty ports open to this fishery, from the Adour to Brittany, via Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré, Nantes, Vannes, Brest, St Brieux, St Malo, Granville, Dieppe, Fécamp... a fishery that saw its last boat leave in 1936.
