WORLD WAR II - RARE BON D' ARMEMENT 1940. - Lot 817
WORLD WAR II - RARE BON D' ARMEMENT 1940.
Two year bond with a face value of MILLE FRANCS.
Voucher sold by the Post Office on June 1, 1940 and bearing the date stamp of Tours / Indre & Loire.
Redeemable to the bearer.
THESE BONDS ARE VERY RARE given their very low success rate, which is explained by their late date of issue in the middle of the war and, above all, the debacle with Nazi Germany.
