Silver knight's cross of MERITE ARTISANAL;
Created in 1948, abolished in 1963, replaced by L'O.N.M. - double-sided medal with 5 branches bordered by a flat fillet, each with 2 points; intervals filled by 5 stylized rays, in the center hand outstretched, legend Mérite Artisanal - Labeur / qualité.
Reverse: legend République Française 1948 with effigy of the Republic in front.
Laurel-leaf wreath on the clasp. Blue moiré ribbon with 4 silver-gray vertical stripes.
