* The 20-year-old aviator Jules Hauvette-Michelin, nephew of the King of Pneumatics of Clermont Ferrand, was killed on May 13, 1910 at the Lyon Air Show. His aircraft collided with a telephone booth and crashed into the pylon at the corner of the runway; the 7th fatality in aviation history.
