JOURNEES REVOLUTIONNAIRES DE 1848 - Political propaganda MEDAL of the "CLUB DE L'HOMME ARME" (*) - lead / pewter 29 mm - R.F. in the field; in the center a pike surmounted by the Phrygian bonnet - reverse: "Club de l'homme armé, à Paris 1848". - 28.5 mm - 11.42 gr - SUP (*) Political club founded in April 1848 and housed at no. 2 rue de l'homme armé - far-left club affiliated with the Société des Droits de l'Homme. Will be prosecuted, and its founder Louis Delbrouck, a fervent socialist, charged with inciting hatred of the government - Club closed in 1848.
