REGNE DE LOUIS XV - War of the Austrian Succession - SIEGE OF NAMUR.
War between the Kingdom of France and the United Provinces allied with the Holy German Empire. France invaded Belgium in 1745 with 100,000 men commanded by Marshal de Saxe. The siege of Namur was entrusted to the Comte de Clermont and took place from September 6 to 30, 1746.
