SILVER - FRANCE - JETON des ETATS de BRETAGNE. TENUE de RENNES de 1754 - Obverse: LUDXVREDIVIVO ET TRIUMPHANTI - on a pedestal the statue of the King - a seated woman symbolizes Brittany - on the left the statue of Hygie goddess of health. Reverse: Crowned mantle, in its center the arms of France and Brittany. Daniel n°102 - SUP The 1854 states were marked by the inauguration of the statue of Louis XV in Rennes. It was erected in celebration of the King's recovery from illness in Strasbourg and the victory at Fontenoy. In 1792, the 3 statues making up this group joined the equestrian statue of Louis XV in Paris for the casting of the CANONS.
